Bagley Area Farmers Market
New this year, Reedbird Farm and Boreal Balance, LLC will have a vendor's booth at the Bagley Area Farmers Market, offering hand spun, knit and woven items from the farm, hand made milk-based soaps and other items as they become available.
All wool items are created completely from the flocks at the farm. Fleeces are removed by Alethea, spun in the grease, washed by hand in plant-based soap, and knit or woven into unique, artistic creations for use or display.
Local farmers markets allow people in the community to meet the people who raise their foods and produce local products while giving farmers and artisans a chance to interact with their customers and neighbors. This allows the community to support local agriculture, avoid importing foods and products from across the country or around the world and keep local economies flourishing.
This summer, our first, the market will be open 4 Fridays in a row starting August 12 and going through the first Friday in September. Market hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in being a vendor or in meeting your local farmers, please call or visit the website. www.bagleyareafarmersmarket.com
We look forward to meeting you!
